RANDY GASTON

Randy Gaston is the Vice President of Flight Operations for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. His most recent accomplishment is the completion of flight test and certification of the Gulfstream G650. Randy has been with Gulfstream for 18 years with previous positions with the company as an experimental and chief test pilot during the developmental testing for the Gulfstream V. He served as Vice President of Flight Operations for the testing of the Gulfstream 550 and 450. Randy has over 40 years of aviation experience as a military pilot/test pilot for the United States Air Force, as a squadron commander, and as a civilian test pilot/flight analyst Designated Engineering Representative for the FAA. He was chief test pilot for the B-1B bomber, and also director for the B-1B test program at the Air Force Flight Test Center Edwards AFB. He is a graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School and also served a tour as an instructor. Randy is an Associate Fellow in the Society of Experimental Test Pilots and a recipient of the 1989 Iven C. Kincheloe Award from the Society of Experimental Test Pilots for distinguished accomplishment of flight test for the B-1B test program. Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Management. Randy is married to Debbi and they have two grown children.
